While Elven Guard’s arrival was a natural progression from the successful protection accorded by the Dengue Defender, it’s readiness and availability has been timely to young women and those expecting, coinciding with the recent and ongoing global epidemic of Zika that may be strongly associated with microcephaly (small heads) of new-borns.

From independent testing conducted at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in mid-2015, Elven Guard showed 100% protection against the Aedes aegypti mosquito (which spreads Dengue, Zika, Yellow Fever and Chikungunya) for more than 8 hours upon a single application and is now the repellent of choice amongst healthcare professionals in Singapore for their patients as queries and information increase on Zika through 2016.

Elven Guard is a unique and concentrated blend of natural substances. The main active para-methane 3,8 diol (PMD) is safe to human skin yet exerts toxic effects on mosquitos and any insects that try to land on you or bite you. Further actives like citronellal, citronellol, ispulegol and lemongrass combine to discrupt mosquito sensory systems.
